What an amazingly peaceful, perfect location. It felt unearthly as if you had been placed in your own little corner of mountain paradise! Exceptional service, staff so friendly and welcoming, personalised touches that we really appreciated. Long list of potential activities. The e-bikes, which we used to explore the area, were great. We also played tennis, used the kayak and paddle board (the lake is small, online photos a little deceptive about the size, but still beautiful). Surrounding the lake are decked areas with sunloungers, a restful place to read and enjoy the sun. We also took part in a yoga class with the lake as a back drop, perfect way to unwind. We enjoyed our cheese making tour, lovely meeting the lady that is the resident cheese maker and learning about her craft. In fact we are currently maturing our 4 cheese rounds in the fridge since coming home! The hotel is full of unique experiences like this. We travelled as a family of four, with teenage children and it was perfect for spending time together, trying new experiences and taking time to slow down yet still explore. The hotel, because of its altitude, means that the temperature is much cooler than the nearby cities like Pisa and means that the temperatures are really pleasant. The lodges themselves, we stayed in the family bunk bed lodge, are beautifully yet simply designed. Fitting in with the eco theme and nestled into their surroundings. Thoughtfully designed and we enjoyed the little touches of home baked biscotti. The hotel was expertly run by Frederico. A perfect host, warm and friendly, nothing was too much and this attitude was then shared by the rest of staff. He’s created a perfect place! Food was fresh, tasty and catered for everyone’s needs. Small menu but wonderfully cooked. We also loved the lunch time setting of their larger restaurant, overlooking the forest and the art gallery. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Lovely hotel while modern had a feel of the location. Owners very professional were very friendly and all staff very helpful, great location lovely pool lovely feel to the hotel, we had a lovely stay.

Lovely spa, we enjoyed after the massages. Very nice breakfast, lovely view and located next to a beautiful park leading to the town centre. TV has many international channels in a few languages. Very comphy bed, great shower.

I had a lovely 2 nights stay on my trip around Tuscany. I certainly did pick the right hotel for relaxing. Great facilities with a Spa and treatment room. The swimming pool had lovely sun lounges with a hood canopy attached. and was beside the Spa. It was really relaxing. There was a very big lounge at the front of hotel for relaxing too with a bar. The breakfast was very good too and one could make their own juice from the fruit and vegetables on the table. Pancake and scrambled eggs with bacon and not forgetting all the lovely cakes !!! My room was on the second floor and had lovely matching furniture with a door opening out to a small balcony with 2 chairs. Great location to the main square and shopping area with the Theatre there also.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this outstanding hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, offering easy access to all the main attractions in the area. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Their friendliness and professionalism made us feel truly welcomed. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The hotel's pool was also a highlight, offering a refreshing escape with well-maintained facilities. Breakfast was a delight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, catering to all tastes. We also dined at the hotel's restaurant for dinner, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The quality and presentation of the food were outstanding. Additionally, I indulged in a massage and a pedicure during my stay. Both treatments were fantastic, providing a great and relaxing experience that left me feeling rejuvenated. Overall, our stay was phenomenal, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!
