Spa Hotels in Otsu

Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Great onsen and breakfast and dinner. Nice quiet environment with great views. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

It was beautiful! Was great coming home from a long day out to a clean and comfortable oasis. Gym facility has everything you need and their staff are very friendly. Laundromat had a number of machines and staff were prompt to empty any unattended machines if notified. The rooms were spacious and so luxurious

Very clean and nice big comfortable room, could connect to my Netflix with the TV. Big onsen too! Beside train station, convenient location.

The onsen was really relaxing and the breakfast is amazing!! I also loved the tatami flooring and relaxing atmosphere, staff was very friendly too.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and had a tea table and a couch. It even had an area/room for the luggages/wardrobe. the toilet was big- a vanity area, separate toilet, shower and a bathtub tub.We booked a 3 single beds corner room which was very comfortable. Absolutely spacious and well thought of design. The breakfast was a good variety of western and Asian cuisine, and had fresh salad, and they also served food that’s locally grown/farmed. Hotel was also environmentally conscious providing refillable stainless water bottles and a water filling station on each floor. The bath products provided were also organic and gentle on the skin and hair. The location was perfect! It is right next to Takashimaya and approx 70 meters away from the main crossing. It’s on the quieter side of the busy area. There is a small grocery on the ground floor selling local and home grown food, and many organic fruits and veggies. The hotel also has a few restaurants. We were only able to try Roku- a ramen place and we really liked it. The patisserie in the hotel was always full- many locals also go there for dessert/tea time. Across the hotel is a famous gyoza place called Chao Chao which always had a long queue. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in Japan! I’ve been to Japan many times and I highly recommend this if you’re going to Kyoto and want to be centrally located. I will stay in this hotel again when I go back to Kyoto. The staff are very helpful, warm and friendly. They helped me in making a reservation for the airport bus from Kyoto to Kansai airport in Osaka. They also booked a van taxi for us since there were 3 of us with luggages.

The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the train station and very quiet. We had a slightly bigger room, which came in handy as we were staying for a week and carrying a lot of luggage. The staff are extremely friendly, but tend to be that delightful Japanese complicatedness. We always chose the Japanese breakfast, which is in a separate restaurant on the second floor. A lovely hotel, perfect location by the train station. This was our third visit and I would stay here again and again.

Eveything! The location is perfect, the rooms are stylish and very comfortable (amazing pillows!!), and we really enjoyed the onsen :) There’s water dispensers and washing+drying machines which are very convenient. We also appreciated the fact that they kept our luggage before check-in and after check-out. All in all a great value for money. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel because we found it too expensive (2200¥ per person) - maybe it would have been cheaper when booked together with the room? But we managed with the nearby shops such as Caffe Veloce, Hollys and Family mart.

Proximity to Gion and temples /shrines. Metres from the subway if needed. Proper Banyan Tree vibe
