The rooms were renovated and upgraded, the food was amazing, now daily seafood at lunch time was added and sushi in the evenings. That is what we need at the beach. They have received the travel life certificate and use glass bottles in the rooms and don't replace towels if not needed. The staff as usual very welcoming and friendly.

What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the incredible team that looked after us. Robert, the concierge, was a true gem—always available, endlessly helpful, and so warm and accommodating. Whether we needed recommendations, transport, or simply a friendly face to check in with, Robert was there with a smile and a solution. Duncan, the chef, completely wowed us with every meal. Each dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with passion. Dining at the villa became one of our favorite parts of the day thanks to his culinary talents. Faith, the housekeeper, ensured everything was always spotless and fresh. She worked quietly and efficiently, and her attention to detail made the entire experience feel effortless and luxurious. And Susan, the house manager, was simply amazing—kind, professional, and genuinely committed to making sure we were comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. This villa is more than just a beautiful place—it’s a full experience, elevated by an extraordinary team who go above and beyond in every way. The Maji Boutique Hotel is incredible. If you lucky enough to find availability just book it, you wont regret it! If you dont like big crowds and if you prefer individuality, this is the place. Everything was excellent; we loved the fresh food, ability to eat at your leisure, the freshly baked breads in the morning, the exquisite location right on the beach, the amazing pool around the rooms of the hotel, the unique local art in every corner on every wall, the stunning customised furniture, the peaceful atmosphere, the privacy as there is only 16 rooms; and the excellent service from the amazing staff who felt like family by the time we left - from the owner, the management, the waiters to even the back of house staff, the pool cleaner, the security, the room cleaners, everyone was so amazing and friendly!! Oh and the deep tissue massage was actually perfect. We spent 6 nights here and wish it could have been longer. We dont usually travel to the same place twice but for sure this is going to be one place we will definately come back to. Couldnt recommend this boutique hotel enough
