This is PARADISE! exactly like I have seen it described in books. Everything is just created to make you not want to ever leave ❤️ me and my fiancé had such a great experience here. When we have arrived, we had a bad cold, and everyone has mobilized to make us feel better: pills, teas, all kinds of ayurvedic medicines were given to us to make us feel better. I felt like we were at our parents homes, and they're going above and beyond to make us feel better. Rooms: we got an upgrade to a room with bathroom and, even though we paid for the lower one, we were offered for free the upper one - very nice gesture 👍 we never slept better - ocean sound and breeze, there is a balcony for each cabana. Super clean, great design, bathrooms are big. Lovely :) The food: Italian base, I had the best pizza ever. Also, we love soup, so their chicken soup is perfect. Staff: amazing. Also, the owners are very fun and welcoming, it was a pleasure to meet them. Activities: the complex is at the ocean front. So we bathed and sun bathed, the weather was amazing. Also, you can learn how to surf, get a massage, play board games, go to safari, go into the lagoon on the beach or by boat, tuktuk to PottuVill, which is much better than Arugam Bay, being more local. I don't have enough good words for this accomodation. I am now looking at options to come back in Jan-Feb and stay for longer than 3 days 😄

A great place for those who appreciate comfort and service. The staff was very kind and helpful, any request was fulfilled in a short time. You could relax and enjoy your holiday. Pleased with the cleanliness of the pool - it was cleaned every morning. The guests of the hotel are also nice people, mostly Europeans who have a rest without children. The room has many pleasant little things that are made with love. The bed is magnificent, every time I lay down on it, it was as if I fell into a cloud.

A beautiful, well-maintained place with a stunning pool overlooking the ocean. The cottages are very comfortable, and the owners are incredibly kind, with a unique, individual approach to each guest. The staff are warm, friendly, and very helpful. The breakfasts are the best regional breakfasts we have ever had, and all the dishes at the restaurant were truly delicious. The hotel is perfectly located, just a 3-minute tuk-tuk ride from the centre, ensuring peace and a comfortable, relaxing stay. It was a wonderful time, and we were truly sad to leave. I would love to come back one day.

I loved absolutely everything about my stay, the rooms were clean and spacious, with beautiful rainfall showers and incredible sea views. The hotel had delicious food served all day and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had since coming to Sri Lanka. The staff were all very helpful, they were very knowledgeable about the area and even showed me some of the best secret surf spots. The hotel has a rooftop bar which has incredible sunset and sunrise views. I even saw some monkeys and wild elephants out the back of the hotel on my first morning here. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, the pictures really don’t even do it justice.

We had a fantastic stay at Aprota Villas during our recent trip to Arugam Bay. From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. We stayed in a spacious and beautifully designed Chalet that was both elegant and comfortable. The excellent service was complemented by quality food, which was a highlight of our stay. Priyantha and his team were excellent in providing an exceptional service. We relied on the WiFi throughout our stay and were impressed by how fast and consistent it was from all areas of the property. The property itself is stunning—a true beachfront haven with gorgeous main swimming pool set within lovely, manicured gardens. It’s the ideal choice for anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful holiday in a breathtaking environment in Arugam Bay. We cannot recommend Aprota Villas highly enough!
