The staff was smiling and friendly. This was the last day in Sri Lanka and they were the fastest in preparing and serving breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was great. Our room was big and clean. Everything was great.

Beautiful hotel interior. All staff are very friendly and always smiling. It was nice that there was beach access. The attentiveness of the staff is what really made it stand out like contacting us before we arrived to ensure we were all set and they helped organise our activities. Me and my partner are frequent travelers, but also in comparison to many other hotels, we were staying at, Tabula Rasa Resort ist definetely in top 3. Amazing attention to details: starting from the service of the stuff, ending with how clean, well-thought and stylish the hotel is. The stuff deserves special thank you: we were provided with EVERYTHING we were just thinking about: the scooter, motorcycle, information about the wanted tours or help with the tours we planned by ourself. The Transfer-Guy who was organized by the hotel to bring us was late for 1 hour due to traffic: as a compensation we got free head massage. The guy in the restaurant came earlier 2 times (at 5:30!!) just to serve us two early breakfast and coffee. Even when in the beginning of our stay it was just two of us in the hotel they did the maximum program: with music, atmosphere, service, beautiful lights in the hotel. It is definetely a 5-star experience and service and we would definitely recommend the hotel to all of the people coming to Sri Lanka. And big thank you for the owners (if the sprites are true dutch architect and designer;) for making the hotel exclusively beautiful.

What a gem of a place to stay. From the moment we arrived Kumudu and team couldn’t do enough for us. A taxi transfer from Colombo airport to Galle was easily pre arranged and meeting the driver was slick. We stayed in a superior deluxe room with jungle view for 4 nights. Facilities great and outdoor shower lovely. There was the added personal touch of having breakfast every morning served on your own terrace. Lush planting made for secluded spaces and good to have a pool too. Although the location is slightly out of the fort it’s easily accessible using a tuk-tuk and it’s only about 40-50 minutes walk if you’re feeling energetic. Special mention needs to go to Eran, the Olive’s on site tuk-tuk driver. It was so easy and reassuring to be able to message and he’d be there to pick up/drop off within minutes. It’s also possible for him to take you further afield. We did a round trip to Koggala lake, a turtle sanctuary, tea plantation and saw stilt fishermen. An absolutely wonderful introduction to Sri Lankan hospitality and we can’t wait to return.

A Charming Boutique Gem in the Heart of Galle My girlfriend and I stayed one night at the Prince of Galle, and it was truly one of the best boutique hotel experiences we've had. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. We were welcomed with their signature cold brew iced tea — a refreshing and unique touch you absolutely must try! The hotel itself is beautifully designed with an antique-style interior that gives off a cozy '70s–'80s vibe. There’s a lovely little pool, built-in piano, chess games, and other fun activities that add so much character to the stay. The 5-course breakfast was a real highlight — delicious, beautifully presented, and far beyond what we expected. Plus, having unlimited drinking water available throughout the stay was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. A special thank you to Saranga, the Guest Relations Manager. He was outstanding — knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly passionate about what he does. He gave us great insights and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Galle. We’ll definitely be back!

What a paradise! We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful resort. A total green and well designed garden, individual villas designed by owner. Every detail we loved it! Especially the welcome, the flowers on the bed and everywhere in the room, many beautiful objects collected by owner, the natures around, the swimming pool. You can feel the owner and their team have good concept of hospitality, to care. Also talked with owner, you feel his total passion about design, about building a place with real care. He also showed us his another new hotel which is amazing too. We also loved breakfast, good choice of various food. We hope we will be back again with family!

We had an amazing stay! The host was very professional, friendly, and welcoming. The location was extremely convenient, with easy access to the main road. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, giving us plenty of privacy throughout our stay. It was also well-equipped, with clean utensils and everything we needed for a pleasant experience. Overall, it was absolutely worth the price.
