What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. The villa is so beautiful that you don't want to leave it! The location is perfect too, you have a stunning view from the terrace and from the whole building through big windows. The pool is crystal clear, the house itself is also very clean and tidy. One of the best things was staff - we could reach out to Asanka anytime and his responses were always in under a minute. He and the whole team were very welcoming and helpful - whatever we needed, they were ready to help. We also ordered food from the hotel - not everything was to our liking but it's great that you have an option of ordering something in your dining room, and they do the full service: bring food and clean after. Nonetheless we recommend creamy pasta and devilled pork. But the best food was breakfast: delicious fresh juices, fruit, omelette, sausages and grilled bread - it was always a great start of a day. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is very comfortable - there is always hot water and the pressure is good. There is water supply so you don't have to worry about buying plastic bottles. All in all, i really recommend this place, we didn't manage to hike down the river because of the weather, but there is much to do here:)

Great accommodation with a beautiful lake view! A big shout-out to the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and more than enough. We even had dinner at the on-site restaurant, and it was exceptional. The only minor thing is the traffic noise coming from the main street, but it’s ok if you’re not noise-sensitive.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in recently. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional drum & song routine performed by the wonderful staff. The room was so comfortable, had everything we needed and a full mini bar included in the rate. The hotel facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends & family.

Mahesh and his family are genuinely kind, warm and hospitable people. They welcomed us with open arms, cooked for (with) us and were assisting us at every turn. This home stay is located just a short walk from town and has a STUNNING view of Kandy. If you want a genuine home stay with a beautiful local family and some stunning home cooked meals - stay here!

We had an amazing 2 nights stay - had a warm welcome after arrival, staff was super friendly and helpful with everything we asked about - a private yoga lesson, train tickets, laundry etc.. their tuk-tuk driver Susantha who took us around, was also a nice and modest person. Very cosy hotel, with enjoyable shady restaurant surrounded by greenery and pleasant pool area. I especially appreciate a small, but for me important thing - usage of metal straws (instead of one-time plastic ones). Thank you again :)!

Our stay at Mountbatten Bungalows was perfect. We came at a full rest after touring Sri Lanka for about 2 weeks at the breathtaking (shaded ;-)) pool, in the beautiful garden and during the lovely diners/breakfast outside. The staff and management was very friendly and the chalets very comfortable.
