Exquisite beach and water villas, amazing management team who welcomed us on arrival, walked around during breakfast and dinner and chatted with us daily and every staff member who was always friendly and supportive. We are vegetarians so was worried about the options available but at every meal at least 3 chefs would come up to us to make sure there was enough to eat, otherwise they were willing to make special meals for us. Thank you Santosh, Rasheed, Chef Siddique and Chef Madan for going out of your way to take care of us. Special thanks to Joseph for making my birthday memorable and special by booking dinner at Jing restaurant and arranging a birthday cake. The villa was cleaned twice a day and the bed turned down at night. Nafiul did an amazing job at the villa and decorating the room for my birthday. From the very first moment, we arrived at the airport and met the Kandolhu team until our departure. Every detail of our stay was flawlessly orchestrated to create an exceptional experience. Though we stayed for only three nights, the warmth, professionalism, and excellence of the team made it truly unforgettable. Location: The journey itself is part of the magic—just a 20-minute scenic seaplane flight followed by a short 5-10 minute boat ride that transports you to this paradise. The Island: Small, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful, Kandolhu is the epitome of a private island retreat. The Resort: Thoughtfully designed with just 30 villas, the property balances exclusivity and comfort. It offers five outstanding restaurants, a stylish bar, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and a sea activities center—ensuring that every guest finds their own perfect way to unwind. Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. Staff & Service: The essence of true hospitality is mastered here. The team anticipated our needs before we even realized them, creating a seamless, highly personalized experience. Their warmth and attention to detail set a new benchmark for excellence. Dining: A standing ovation to the executive chef, sous-chefs, and the entire culinary team. The food was fresh, inventive, and packed with flavour. With five distinct restaurants—offering Mexican-Peruvian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Sea Grill, and an all-day dining option—every meal was a delightful journey of taste. Spa: We had the 'couple ritual'. A sanctuary of relaxation, the spa at Kandolhu offers a truly rejuvenating experience. With expert therapists, soothing treatments, and a tranquil setting, every session feels like a retreat within a retreat—perfect for unwinding and embracing the island’s serenity. Housekeeping: Impeccable.

The service, respectfulness and friendliness of the employees were very good. We admired the facility's care for nature and not using plastic. There is nothing to say about the view and the sea, it was perfect. It was also good that the food was varied and delicious. The care they showed when leaving was also very nice.

Service, food, staff, entertainment

"food" was exceptional - absolutely delicious, the cuisine varied and the Maldivian themed night dinner was just incredible! "reef" was exceptional - excellent snorkelling, for all level of swimmers, they even offer you a free diving experience. "water villa" was exceptional - it was beautiful, well maintained, well located and the housekeeping services excellent. The staff are amazing, they are kind, warm, helpful and welcoming. The beverages are of very high quality. Truly an incredible experience - a must-see on any Maldivian tourist list. And we've been to the Maldives 10 times. This was by far the best experience - the resort and island has an incredibly serene vibe.

Literally everything!! The entire key staff welcomed us upon arrival which was very courteous. We felt extremely special during our stay. Big thanks to Alexander, Ibrahim, Muhaiman and the entire staff for making our stay very special and private. The food was extraordinarily delicious everywhere. We will definitely come back again and again and again.

Lovely little intimate hotel on a little gem of an island. The stay was wonderful. We were greeted by the staff of the property with a welcoming entry. The guest house is located at the beach. The day of arrival I saw baby sharks and baby tutle directly from my room balcony. There were 5 sharks, 2 stingrays and one baby turtle. They were seen all the time at the sea infront of the guest house. The beach was sooooo beautiful. I highly recommend this guest house..

The Honeymoon of Our Dreams – Constance Moofushi is Absolute Magic We’ve been fortunate to travel to many beautiful places around the world, but nothing compares to our experience at Constance Moofushi. Today is our last day of our honeymoon, and to say we’re a bit gutted is an understatement. Coming in May, we were slightly nervous about the weather — but we’ve honestly had the best holiday of our lives. While May is technically the start of the wet season in the Maldives, the weather was far better than expected: around 60–70% sunny, with occasional showers and refreshing wind. Rather than detracting from the experience, the changing skies added a richness to the scenery — bringing a welcome break from the intense tropical heat. It also gave us a chance to experience the Maldives as the locals do, in all its natural beauty. The shifts in weather were truly exceptional. We stayed in a Senior Overwater Villa, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up each morning to the gentle sound of the ocean, diving straight into the turquoise waters, and watching the sunset from our deck was pure magic. But what sets Moofushi apart isn’t just the scenery — it’s the heart and soul of the place: the people. From the moment we stepped off the seaplane, we were treated with genuine warmth and personal attention. The staff knew our names, our preferences, even where we liked to sit at dinner — and they remembered it all without us having to ask twice. It never felt robotic or rehearsed — just naturally thoughtful and full of care. Our room was refreshed multiple times a day, and every small touch was meaningful — from the honeymoon decorations to the smiles we were greeted with every day. The service was flawless. Whether it was chatting with the wonderful wait staff, being surprised with thoughtful gestures from housekeeping, or watching my husband play cricket with some of the staff (we’re from New Zealand, so that meant a lot!) — every moment felt special.
