We had the smallest room but it was bigger than most standard hotel rooms and beautifully designed and furnished. The food in the restaurant was very good. Service was pleasant but a bit amateurish and slow at times. Lovely swimming pool area. Excellent valet parking and reception. An oasis of calm, much nicer than staying in the city (we had a car).

The staff was ready and willing to make us comfortable, they were very friendly and attentive. Rosario went put of her way to accommodate us when there was limited staff. There is always an attendant at front desk, the security was very good.

    The original buildings and gardens are beautiful. The pool was nice and warm (but not too warm). The hotel was relaxed and peaceful - great for a lovely chilled out break.     The location is perfect, it’s a 5 minute walk to the main square so you’re right at the city centre. The main building and the garden are beautiful. Loved the swimming pool. Breakfast was good but overpriced. Our room (more like a mini-house in the back of the garden) was spacious and had all the things we needed. Staff is friendly.

    Breakfast is good, there is a buffet in a beautiful place with lots of options. I just LOVE the gardens in this hotel, I could spend hours there. Rooms are very spacious and nice, I would recommend better pillows.
