The hotel is massive with multiple restaurants, bars and lounging areas. The pools were lovely! The hotel room is really spacious and we loved the bathrooms. The shower is really spacious and the marble splurged everywhere in the hotel screams luxury and opulence. The Galaxia fine dining restaurant was lovely. We chose to go a la carte and had the artisan bread, wagu beef skewer and red snapper (catch of the day). The food was delicious and worth the price if you like fine dining. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Great variety, very friendly staff and delicious food! The downstairs bar staff were amazing and we liked the love music nights. The staff are friendly, kind and really made the hotel feel more "warm" with their personalities!

The room was big, always really clean and the ocean view was very nice. The breakfast was tasty with a lot to choose from.

We loved everything about the property. Our suit was spacious, clean, gorgeous views. As there are not too many suites it felt very private. We spent hours at the infinity pool and jacuzzi. It was a perfect after hike stay.

The perfect base for exploring Madeira. The Residence Porto Mare – Porto Bay is an absolutely stunning place. We enjoyed every second of our stay. It was magical from start to finish. A warm and friendly welcome at reception. The reception staff were very kind to us, took our luggage to our room and helped us navigate the huge grounds. We had a studio room, spacious and very comfortable with good furniture. Large terrace with table and chairs, and in front of it a garden with sun loungers. The kitchen-studio was equipped with everything you need to prepare dinner. The beds are huge and the mattresses are very comfortable for a great night's sleep. The room is spotlessly clean, cleaned every day. A special mention goes to the housekeeper Zite Figueira. Her cheerful attitude and cheerful laughter made our stay even more enjoyable. We celebrated my wife's birthday in the Alfama a la carte restaurant. The food was excellent and the manager of the restaurant Paulo and his whole team made my wife's day unforgettable. The cake with candles and congratulations from the staff was great. The hotel staff also congratulated us with champagne in the room. We would like to thank everyone. It was a wonderful surprise. I must say that all the staff of the residence are very friendly, polite, diligent and helpful. The breakfast staff was always professional, despite being very busy. The breakfast in the Atlantida restaurant, "buffet", was very good. The quality of the food is excellent. Beautiful well-kept green area, beautiful gardens, great pools, jacuzzi, gym, "happy hour"! There are enough places on the sun loungers. Supermarket and shopping center next door. Lido nearby. Many restaurants and bars around Everything was perfect for our stay. We had a great time. Very elegant, very clean and good location

The level of cleanliness was absolutely exceptional. The staff in all departments could not be more friendly and professional. The whole hotel really caters for true relaxation and comfort from the comfy beds to the huge heated indoor pool to the roof top hot tub overlooking the port, the perfect location to watch the cruise liners come in and out and watch the sun go down. This was also topped off with the most incredible spa treatment

Simply Perfect. The best place to stay in Funchal, Not cheap but great value
