This property has 2 flats and as a group of 4 we rented both. Lovely modern bright apartments in the little village of Dolenje Jezero near Cerknica. We were surprised at how large the apartment was, very well equipped and great value for money. Our hosts were really kind and helpful and on hand for any queries. There is a lot of cycling and walking around here with great cycle tracks around the lake. We were there primarily to see the intermittent lakes and the local wild flowers. The lake was very full as there had been so much rain in May, it would be interesting to see what it looks like in the summer when it has all drained into the karst system below. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area and we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.

Exceptional accommodation, impeccable cleanliness and a beautiful surrounding area. Everything was functional and designed for complete enjoyment. The owner is a wonderful, kind, and accommodating lady. Nearby, you can visit the Škocjan Caves, Postojna Cave, and Predjama Castle – all of which I highly recommend. Definitely our go-to choice whenever our travels bring us this way!

In beautiful nature and landscape, the host received us like family. The room was very simple,yet we had everything. Even bigger surprise came in the morning. We wanted to have just coffee, but enjoyed the breakfast hall so much, and so long, that we ended up having breakfast out of delicious homegrown produce and homemade juice, bread, yoghurt. We loved sitting under the cooling shade of vine, and chatting with extremely kind host. The most incredible experience on this trip, and we want to enjoy the hospitality of The Janezinovi, and their fantastic food and atmosphere!

Modern, perfectly furnished and equipped rooms and bathrooms. Clean, quiet, charming. The hosts are very nice and very helpful people. Downstairs there is a restaurant and a bar run by the hosts. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I also recommend this place to cyclists (a place to safely store bicycles)

It’s a perfect retreat. This was the last stop of our holiday so we thought we’d treat ourselves (three-year-old son in tow) and we’re so glad we did. The view from the mezzanine is quite simply stunning and the site is wonderfully peaceful. Jaka and his family are wonderful hosts and cooked us delicious breakfasts and dinners every day, which was welcome both to ease our weary bodies and because of how remote the site is. Even so, it still only took us an hour to get back to the airport.

We spent 9 days here with our little daughter and it was really great. The place is located close to towns like Trieste, Piran etc. but you can also go hiking, swimming in a lake nearby, visit famous caves etc. - a lot of different things! At the same time the quietness is stunning, you are surrounded by nature and there is a sauna and a hot tub to relax. The apartment has everything you need and is brand new! Most of all, the host Aleš is so nice and helpful with everything!
