We really liked the hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. Everything was in place and worked perfectly – air conditioning, water, and Wi-Fi.The staff was really helpful - you can see that they care. The food in the restaurant was tasty, with portions just right. The beach is wide and clean – perfect for walks and relaxing. The area is quiet, ideal for unwinding. If you're looking for a nice place to relax, it's definitely worth coming here!

We absolutely loved the place and the hosts, Tomasz and Maggie, who welcomed us wholeheartedly and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Since we traveled during the low season, we were kindly offered an upgrade to the Ocean Room — and we loved it! We only left the property once, for a snorkeling tour, because everything we needed was right there. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we chose to dine in every night.

Haber Hotel is a fantastic place! Small family hotel located in Matemwe, it offers comfort and quiet atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to all those who want to avoid the big crowded noisy touristic hotels on the coast but in the same time want to stay close to beautiful beaches (nearby you can find Muyuni beach and Matemwe beach). The owners, Kris and Kasha, are great and would do everything to make the stay of the guests unforgettable. The staff is very kind and the whole dynamic of this property is tailored to fit the needs and comfort of the guests. Breakfast is fabulous, served from 8am till noon, for those who like to sleep in late, and for lunch and dinner we could chose delicious options from a rich menu or even off menu. Pets are welcome (the hotel is actually named after Haber, the owners' cute Cocker Spaniel). At any time of our stay we felt welcome, safe, well taken care of and even spoiled.

We had an amazing honeymoon at Mambo Paradise in Zanzibar. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. Staying at Alladin was an unforgettable experience. What truly made this place stand out was the incredible staff. Khamis, Benito, Faraja, Mona, and the rest of the team made me feel like part of their family. Their warmth, kindness, and constant willingness to help turned this hotel into my home on Zanzibar. I stayed for two weeks and enjoyed every moment—relaxing by the pool, swimming in the sea (which was especially amazing from 3 PM onwards when it felt like a natural hot tub!), and simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. As a solo traveler, I always felt that someone from the hotel was looking out for me, which made my stay even more special. The rooms are perfect. The food was absolutely delicious! I ate at the restaurant almost every day, and there were plenty of great vegetarian options. Beyond the hotel itself, they took such great care of me when organizing excursions. Everything was arranged flawlessly—packed breakfasts, reliable taxis, excellent guides—it made exploring Zanzibar so easy and stress-free. This is the perfect place to feel at home in Zanzibar. The only downside? You won’t want to leave!

Marafiki is pure bliss! Ideal location, so tastefully decorated, well maintained daily, very clean. The staff are lovely and the restaurant on site also great. Will be back! *Suited particularly to honeymooners (though we weren't and still very much enjoyed).

We loved everything during our stay. Especially our 2,5 years old son Adam was so happy there. Very kind, better say friendly employees and the manager too. All of them still smiling, helpfull and villing to make our wishes come true. Truly cozy room and the whole resort. A huge portions of food that was always soooo delicius. It's gonna be extremely demanding for local management and staff to do additional improvements of any kind 😏👍.

From the moment we walked through the gate we felt relaxed and happy in the beautiful jungle oasis that it is. Staff all lovely, felt very cared for, space to chill but lots to do nearby on this amazing diverse island. Maria and Paco could not be more helpful with organising trips and local info.
