La Vela is an upmarket Hotel, about a 10-minute taxi ride from the center of Hue. There is a free shuttle twice a day into town and back again. The infinity pool on the rooftop is amazing, and the food at the restaurant was 10/10 with exceptional presentation. We enjoyed a free full buffet breakfast with more options than you could imagine. Our room was large with plenty of space for suitcases opened out, and we had good views from our room

Gorgeous rooms with modern features but still full of charm. Very nice spacious bathroom with rain shower. Large rooms with balcony. Awesome rooftop pool and garden gives you a whole 360 view of Hue. Amazing staff are so nice and helpful with excellent English. Honestly can't wait to go stay again.

The whole client experience was amazing. We were on our honeymoon and they gave us an upgrade when we checked-in. When we arrived to our room, it was decorated and with some delicious gifts along with a small letter. Those small details matter a lot. The breakfast (buffet) was delicious and their salt coffe was a masterpiece. We also had a chance to eat dinner at the rooftop and the food was also great. Great location to go on tours to see Hue.

Very green and peaceful location, staff is very friendly. The rooms are not connected, so quiet. Good breakfast with a lot of choices that change every day so we can try different local dishes. The restaurant Junrei is outstanding. We loved the heated swimming pool - especially at a rainy and “cool” day. Great operations manager Ms. Hoai An who took good care of us - and even speaks fluent Thai!!

This hotel was amazing! Such a great location, the rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfast was exceptional and we really really enjoyed it. The top thing however, were the staff. They were so friendly and went above and beyond for us. Give this hotel a chance, it doesn’t have many reviews as it is new! It is a fantastic stay.

We were absolutely blown away by our stay! Truly 5 stars. Gorgeous view of the koi ponds and extensive Japanese gardens right from our balcony. Even beautiful in the rain :) Room was SPOTLESS, never have I seen a hotel in Southeast Asia so sparkling clean! Thank you, Kobe housekeeping. Bed was absolutely massive, extremely comfortable, and had the best pillows. Room included onsen access to 9 pools of mineral HEAVEN, with friendly staff to walk you through it and give you plenty of privacy. Outstanding breakfast far exceeded expectations and included really unique options to break up the monotony of Vietnamese food -- incl. sushi, matcha cakes, steamed taro bunsfreshly brewed specialty teas, a miso soup station, etc. in addition to the standard Asian-style and Western-style offerings. We were even pleasantly suprised by the culinary quality of the room service, and the steak and sushi we had for dinner on the property's restaurant on our last night. Service was top-notch.
