Everything. A wonderful resting space, a little paradise in this part of Belgium. Relaxing view, wonderful breakfast, very kind hosts, and a little pool that was very welcome on a hot summer day. The sauna and jacuzzi were my main reason to book this place for a relaxing getaway, but the whole place is just perfect. Beautifully decorated, amazing views, and the host is so helpful and nice. The guest house is on their property where they also run stables, so if you like horses, it's even better!

It was a nice quiet location with a pub opposite and take away nearby. The hosts were very hospitable and went above and beyond in making our stay a very enjoyable one

Clean and modern room, very good breakfast. They just installed a new water pump which caused the water to be less hot, but we were generously compensated for this.

With global warming, it was nice to have air conditioning as an option because most small countryside places in Belgium don’t necessarily have air-conditioning..

Facial treatments and massages are also available at an additional cost. A great stay as always at the Butte aux Bois, and very difficult to leave after only one night! The hotel is immaculate and beautiful, the spa is pristine and relaxing, and the staff are extremely courteous and attentive. The perfect hotel.

Hidden away behind a little cobblestone path, Freddy (the owner) has created a place that has everything you need to relax and wind down. Lots of space, both inside and outside, a swimming pond, a sauna and hottub, hammocks, BBQs and fireplaces. Surrounded by lush, green terrain abundant with birds and of course, the donkeys. I'll miss the sound of them... The surrounding areas are good for walking/cycling, but you won't find much in terms of bars/restaurants/shops. Whether that's good or bad depends on what you're looking for.
