Everytime we fly into Halifax this hotel is our favourite place.

Guests at The Iona Heights Inn can enjoy a buffet breakfast. This place exceeded my expectations. We needed a pet friendly place as we wrapped up the cabot trail. Iona wasn't exactly on our route, but not too far off. The room was super clean, tidy, well thought out and tastefully decortated. We were on the upper lever with a little balcony with a lovely view. The beds and linens were super comfortable. There is a restaurant as well that offers take away (travelling with our dog means patios and take away) and the food was great (excellent seafood chowder). Service was outstanding; check-in, the restaurant, check out. I would say the location caters to people on the move as opposed to a long stay but there's a basketball court and i saw some soccer nets on the lawn if kids need entertaining. The Highland Village is also next door, and looks like a great family activity.

This place has a fantastic location, with incredible food options nearby, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming! We stayed in Lunenburg yesterday and had an amazing experience , we totally understand why this place is so loved. We'll definitely be back!

The resort offers hillside views of the Annapolis Valley and the Bay of Fundy’s Minas Basin. Lovely cabins in a peaceful, rural setting, but a couple of hundred yards from the main building.

The aparthotel has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The staff there were very kind and helpful. We had to postpone our check-in due to bad weather. They were very understanding and helped with our situation. The accommodation was clean and as expected. But their support was really exceptional.

The workers were very accommodating and helped us with a late check in. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathroom clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Churchill’s Restaurant and Lounge is on site and boasts the world famous Digby scallops prepared by award winning Chef Dale Nichols. The restaurant is open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. The 19th Hole Clubhouse and Eatery offers a relaxed pub environment, serving light meals from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The breakfast buffet consists of sausages, eggs, bacon, omelets, fruits and pastry. We loved our stay at the Digby Pines and Golf Resort and Spa and would definitely recommend staying here!! They have everything to offer for a relaxing and romantic getaway. The staff is just wonderful. The elevator was broken upon arrival, but they offered to bring our luggage to the room. The room itself is a bit more traditional, but had everything we needed and fits within the concept of the accomodation. We had a great night sleep in the comfy beds and woke up to the sublime smell of the breakfast buffet, which was so delicious and really extensive (pancakes, pastries, eggs benedict, and even an omlet station)! The domain was absolutely beautiful. We took a walk to the beach and enjoyed a game of giant chess. Also, it is a 5 min drive to the centre of Digby, a cute town with cosy little shops and reastaurants (must try: Digby scallops and lobster). Also perfect location if you are planning to go whale spotting on Brier Island. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Stand-up paddle board, zodiaks and pontoon boats are available for rental at the Inverary Resort. Guests can work out at the on-site gym and then relax in the sauna or with a massage from the resort spa. The pub/restaurant was fabulous ....the food was awesome and service was great. All were very welcoming. The resort was having a dinner/dance which required tickets and they were sold out so I sent a email asking if we could go on a cancellation list. They followed up and we were able to attend the wonderful event. Now that is caring efficient service. Thank you Thank you.
