We stayed for 3 nights and our expectations were exceeded. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the whole island. Our room was in a great position, overlooking the pool, was comfortable and air conditioned. The hotel’s garden, food and cocktails were all brilliant. A taxi into Hanga Roa was only 5000 CLP. We hired a car from the hotel for the day so we could explore ourselves. We then had a half day excursion with a brilliant guide the following day. She was the president of (I think) the tourism board in Rapa Nui. Learning and seeing the Moais was definitely the highlight of the trip.

This wonderful family treats their guests like family, very welcoming and loving. Gratitude is not enough. I recommend this house to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

At Explora Rapa Nui guests are welcome to use the outdoor pool and sauna areas. Massage services can be requested for an extra fee. Everything. From the moment we were greeted at the airport to the first 3 course lunch and private tour really set us up for what we were to expect.

At the bed and breakfast, all units are fitted with a wardrobe. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, units at the bed and breakfast also have free WiFi, while certain rooms also offer a terrace. At the bed and breakfast, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The location was perfect just a short walk to the town, Hosts were helpful and polite and spoke excellent English, Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was simple but good quality.

I was warmly and nicely welcomed (with flower neckles - it was so lovely!), shuttle service from airport was complimentary. Contact with hosts was great and easy: they are very helpful and easy going. Room was clean, with beautiful view and nice facilities. Breafast was modest but fresh and good.

It was very reasonably priced accommodation.
