We had a wonderful stay at the Langham. This was our first trip to Shanghai and I am so glad we chose this hotel for our stay. It is perfectly located, but more than that, the hotel itself is stunning and we had a very comfortable room. Everything was spotless, and we had a wonderful surprise from hospitality staff. After a great night sleep, DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST!!!. it's fantastic with so many options. This hotel staff could not be better. A few people stood out. We wanted to say thank you to Mr Ivan and Mr Jeffery. They helped us all week, and it was a joy to speak with each morning. A very special thank you to Mr Andy! What a kind and knowledgeable gentleman. Ask for him if you need anything, he treated us like family. We will be back

The hotel presents nearly 8,000 square metres of versatile event space, including 12 function rooms ranging in size from 47 square metres to 510 square metres with professional audio-visual facilities. The two pillar-free Grand Ballrooms can accommodate approximately 1,500 people and 1,700 people, respectively, for cocktail parties. the club lounge provided excellent service and also view of the pearl tower

Set next to the Huangpu River, The New Bund International Business District, as known as the “Golden Boot,” offers everything you’d expect from a modern urban setting, from first-class office buildings to luxury shopping centers to verdant riverside parks perfect for recreation and relaxation. Blending culture and nature, it is now home to Shangri-La Qiantan, Shanghai. The location is very convenient and can order take-away. The inner decoration is exceptional and the room is very baby friendly. Staff are really nice and kind.

The J Hotel Shanghai Tower delivers a truly elevated experience, both literally and figuratively. My upgraded Stateroom was a showcase of refined modern luxury, with a glossy dark floor, cream and gold accents, a superbly comfortable bed, and an elegant bathroom featuring a marble-bench rain shower and sculptural bathtub. Every detail was thoughtfully considered – from the Nespresso machine and premium minibar to whisper-quiet climate control and fully electronic curtains and lighting. The views over the Huangpu River and Shanghai’s skyline, especially by day, were simply breathtaking. Breakfast was outstanding, combining a refined buffet with à la carte options, fresh berries, multiple nut varieties, unsweetened yoghurt, and exceptional service. Staff throughout the stay were attentive without intrusion, anticipating needs before they were voiced. The bar offered spectacular river views, superb cocktails, and a refined atmosphere once the live music began. A takeaway breakfast box prepared for my early departure was beautifully presented and freshly made – a wonderful gesture.

I had a room with a view to the Shanghai skyline and it was terrific. The location of the hotel is excellent (East Nanjing Road) and shopping and dining opportunities are plenty. The room and bathroom design were very pleasant. The hotel staff was enthusiastic and helpful.
