Room was large, tastefully decorated with cute little balcony overlooking some of the roofs of old Skagen. Breakfast was excellent - good selection of a la carte items along with a delicious buffet and freshly baked breads and pastries. Their omelette was cooked to perfection. Lounge area by reception was a perfect 'hyggelig" area for guests to relax with a drink, read, play cards or chess. Had delicious Moules Frites for dinner in their vibrant Brasserie restaurant. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

The wine bar is closed on Sundays and local Bank holidays. This is a family-run small hotel which was comfortable and has a great personality. The superior room was a good size and has all the things you need including a kettle. Breakfast is in an attractive room and had good options. Staff were great. I enjoyed my stay here. I didn’t take advantage of the wine bar but it looks cosy and welcoming.

The self-checking was explained very well through emails and the signage was very clear once we arrived. The keys were also very easy to access and use. The reception also had a mini shop, free tea and coffee, reading glasses to borrow and a gym. The facilities in the room were very good: full length mirror, table with chairs, mini fridge, sofa, hotel welcome booklet, local area booklet, adjustable heating. The kitchen had all utensils and crockery and was clean. There was also free tea and coffee and a dish washer. The shower was hot and toiletries provided and we had two towels each. Sharing facilities was not an issue for our stay. The hotel owner was very kind, helpful and spoke English well. The cleaner was also very friendly. The bikes were easy to book and access in the morning and return. They had helmets, lights, basket and lock. They were very comfortable to ride (I think they're new). The location was also very good. < 10 min walk to the centre. < 5 min walk to Lidl.
