Located a 5-minute drive from the centre of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Les Carmes offers pet-friendly accommodation with free WiFi. This hotel has a year-round outdoor pool and spa centre. Where do I begin? Pascal and his team have made our trip to Le Thor one we will never forget. What a great host and absolutely the prime location if you want to experience the countryside of France. The rooms are huge and cozy, they feel like royalty rooms. The breakfast included was amazing: fruits, yogurt, bread, etc. Definitely worth it to pay extra for the spa - it just adds so much to the overall experience. Lastly, Pascal made sure we had the best stay - we didn’t have a car so he helped arrange for our cabs and restaurants. We feel very nostalgic looking back at our stay. If there is an accommodation that has set a high standard for us - it is Les Carmes. <3

Beautiful hotel was a treat after a 250km solo hike through Provence. Got the family room with balcony overlooking the pool where I was able to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset, doesn’t get better. Top quality bedding and linen honestly couldn’t say anything negative about it. A true 5 star hotel. Also made use of the gym.

I can not recommend this property more. The location, the place itself was lovingly restored, the pool on hot summer days, the selection of drinks by the pool (the champagne was very good), but most importantly Florian and Emmanuel are what make this place so special. You can tell that this place is a labor of love. They treat you like family the entire stay. Florian has an amazing sense of humor and will keep a smile on your face the entire time. Emmanuel is kind and caring and wants to make sure everything is just right. The property is spotless thanks to Florian’s energy. A leaf would fall from the tree and he swoop in to catch it. The bed was excellent and the room was so quiet. Make sure Florian shows you the disco shower! Also prior to arrival they are great about communicating and even helped with getting our car parked. Staying with them was the highlight of Avignon! I can’t recommend it more!

If you are fortunate enough to stay at Le Domaine du Castellas, you won’t regret it. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.

She was available to answer any of our questions. Parking was free and easy to access. The apartment had everything that we could possibly need - a good kitchen, modern bathroom, comfortable bed, as well as, a large window/patio door that opened onto a private terrace. The surroundings were quiet and private. It was a good for visiting Orange.
