The Manager was very attentive from the check in to the check out and has a passion for hospitality. Great receptionists as well. The room was big enough with fantastic view and the airco was working as it should. Massage treatment was really worth it and the spa session which is included in the price was the pinnacle of our stay. All in all, a truly recommended place to relax in Monemvasia area and look forward to visit it next year.

The Suites are very large and comfortable The area is surrounded by olive and orange trees and the smell of the nature was great. the staff was excellent and we even had a chance to make our own party after dinner. thank you

From reception to pool bar, restaurant, SPA...everyone is exceptional - Owner really cares about his guests. Our last evening, after dinner, the owner of this resort overheard my wife asking a waitress about figs, which we could not find in stores. It was around 10 pm, and we did not even know who this man was. He went out in the dark to pick up figs and gave them to us in a nice chest half an hour later. Unbelievable! - Room size and cleanliness - The SPA has a wide range of services, and the personnel are very well qualified - Extremely comfy mattress - Quiet place where you can really relax and enjoy the amazing sea - Nature: I have never seen such a clean and easily accessible sea, and I am from southern Italy, where we have an amazing coast. I will never forget it.

Kastro Maini is located in the heart of the historic Areopolis, in central Mani. The traditional stone-built building features a pool with hydromassage and a pool for children.

Accommodation at Kastro Maini consists of well-furnished, spacious rooms with traditional iron beds. The private balconies have view to the gulf of Messiniakos or to the southern part of the Mount of Taygetos, called Sagias. Nice pool with bar that we used every morning as it was too hot to drive to the beaches. Only 5 min walk to the center of Areopolis. Very clean. Strongly recommended.

A restaurant offering more casual dining options is also available. We drove from Olympia through Sparta to Kinsterna Hotel. After driving through what might say a little bit run down villages it was unbelievable experience to arrive at this oasis. Everything was so beautiful, the food and staff impeccable! We stayed for 2 nights and took an took a hike in the island of Monemvasia, which is like another world. The only tiny thing which i thing I did not like was the English pop-music played in the restaurant. I would have preferred some Greek or instrumental music, but that is probable just me 😊
