Even after we had left, Rosie reached out to check in and ask if my son – who had experienced a brief stomach upset – was feeling better. That kind of thoughtfulness truly touched us. We’re also deeply grateful to the amazing chefs, Said and Rajid, who spoiled us with delicious African meals and fulfilled every culinary wish with a smile. Their cooking and kindness made each day a true delight. The villa itself is beautiful – tastefully decorated, well maintained, and full of charm. You can truly feel that everyone here is passionate about making guests feel completely at home. Thank you for everything – we would love to come back!

The water sport centre offers PADI scuba diving, sea excursions, snorkelling, wind and kite surfing. Great service, clean rooms, relaxing location, well managed, good food, and most of all, the beach. Simply perfect. One didn't get hassled by beach merchants. Nice, little, blissful hotel and location. Definitely recommend!!!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing and went far beyond what we expected. The location is perfect – peaceful and right next to the beach, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The facilities were excellent: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. But what truly stood out was the incredible hospitality. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive – always going above and beyond to make sure every wish was fulfilled. You rarely see this level of care, even in higher-class hotels. I will genuinely miss them. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was a generous buffet with plenty of delicious options, and dinner was à la carte – beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Full credit to the chef for creating such amazing meals every day! I can’t recommend this place enough. We’re already dreaming of coming back.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of garden, Shela Bliss is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Lamu, 400 metres from Manda Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. The host was absolutely lovely and made us feel completely at home. He made sure we were comfortable at all times, and tailored city tours, boat trips and a sunset cruise for us. Definitely made our stay in Lamu and we hope to go back sometime!
