It was pouring rain the day I arrived, so parked myself at the spa for 3 hours and had by far the best Ayurvedic treatments I had on my entire trip. The location is out of the main area of town, but is only a short tuk tuk ride which the hosts can help to book.

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

Owner picked us up from the train and fed us dinners and breakfast that his wife made in their home. They greeted us with fresh mango juice made from mangos on their tree. He took us to pindurangula rock for a sunrise hike and Dambulla caves in his tuk tuk and organised a safari for us.

Our stay was magnificent. The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.

Owner was super nice and helped us organise a safari in Eco Park! Truly recommend staying here if you are nearby the Sigiriya area! And had a nice barbecue for dinner! Breakfast amazing as well!!
