Located on the West Coast of Mauritius Island, Le Gite du Bonheur Guest House & Car Rental is a self catering guest house located in Tamarin, at the foot of the popular La Tourelle Mountain and a 5 minutes drive to Tamarin Bay Beach. The Guest house has a fully equiped kitchen, an infinity pool, a fitness centre, steam room, a spa and laundry facilities. Le Gite du Bonheur Guest House & Car Rental also offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The bed is very comfortable. Room is well equipped, clean and spacious. We felt at ease, slept well and enjoyed our stay at Le Gite du Bonheur very much. We rented our car with Le Gite which has great options for their rental. Well located to discover the West and South of the Island. Lots of hiking options and sea excursions/ activities next to the guest house. The Host is Great and will do everything possible to assist. For relaxation, the property has a sauna and massage cabin in the middle of the estate. Guests can also browse the boutique shop or borrow a book from the library. Free bikes are available. Very natural and serene location. Green, charming and eye catching. Convenient and stylish lodges, open air shower and pools. Kept closed to residents only, so feels like you almost on your own there. Great view at sunset from the bar atop the hill. Staff are best from what you could expect. A-la-carte menu and wine list in the main restaurant is fairly good and actually one could spend a few days without leaving the premises (we stayed for 2 nights). All-in-all makes your stay memorable and we will stay here again for a part of our journey next year.

The The St Regis Le Morne Resort, Mauritius includes panoramic Indian Ocean and Le Morne Brabant Mountain views from its beachside location. Stylish accommodation, separate fitness and spa centres and 5 restaurants feature at this 5-star luxury resort. The room was amazing, as advertised. Breakfast buffet was exceptional, wifi was very fast everywhere in the resort, even the beach. The beach was really great, and all the hotel staff was extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Special thanks to Thierry and Nass who made our stay even more wonderful, and to Matai from Le Morne Lounge, Avish from the Boathouse Restaurant and Aniket from the Floating Market who were amazingly kind, professional, and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay great. Overall, probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in, both accommodation-wise and service-wise.

Relaxing massage treatments are available in the spa, which includes a sauna and a gym. A personal trainer is available on request. Glass-bottom boat tours and snorkeling trips are organized by the 24-hour staff. Land and water sports ranging from sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing to tennis, bocce ball. The Staff of the Dinarobin Hotel is world class. In particular the concierges team was great and helpful beyond what one could expect (many thanks to Berty, Agen and Pascal). We really liked the food (especially the Blue Merlin restaurant which serves a food that could easily compete with most of the fine dining restaurants in major cities). The place (with LeMorne mountain in the landscape) is spectacular, the beaches are long. We also really enjoyed the SPA yoga classes (by Mohini) and the perks that the hotel offers to newly weds (free lunch, bottle of sparkling wine and a very beautiful hotel room with awsome view). A lot of good night entertainment (singing etc.) was also a plus.

After all the action and activities offered at the resort, guests will certainly enjoy a well-deserved day of pampered luxury at the Spa. In this tranquil and welcoming cocoon guests can experience different massages and treatments to revive their body and soul. Excellent hotel. The food, the setting and the comfort all five stars. The highlight is the nautical activities included - they offer really a lot of things for the guests to try and are very friendly and accommodating. The water is the dream blue and the space is amazing. The golf club has exquisite terrain as well. We can’t wait to come back.

It is very secluded and quiet with a direct access to the beach. There is also a private pool. The host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely going back:))

Bike hire and car hire are available at the villa and the area is popular for snorkelling and hiking. Walking tours can be enjoyed nearby. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Mauritius. From the start, the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive — they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and even helped us book activities during our stay, which made everything so much easier. The villa itself was spacious, well-organized, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi in the evenings. The housekeeper was also excellent and kept everything in great condition throughout our stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home — from the flowers placed everywhere, to the delicious bread and chocolate that were kindly provided. The 4G phone they gave us was especially helpful for those in our group without local internet, allowing us to stay connected through hotspotting. Overall, it was a lovely home hosted by truly lovely people. Thank you for sharing it with us.
