Also, this property features 12 murals from local and internaitonal artists, and for your relaxation the hotel has a spa centre, and guests can enjoy regional and international dishes at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Totally nice hotel with pretty pools and a nice area. They even have some animals like turtles and cats. The pool is also very nice and the highlight is of course the nice Cenote. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the food at the restraunt was good. Safe parking included.

Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy garden views. Don't look any further, book this beautiful boutique hotel - you will not regret it !!! :-) This hotel exceeded our expectations!! The rooms are nicely decorated, they are spacious, modern and extremely clean. The bar area invites for a welcome drink and the hotel has got a beautiful small restaurant which we decided to try out and it was the best decision ever !! The food was delicious and the ambience was really special. The lighting around the pool created a beautiful setting for a peaceful dinner with a delicious glass of vino. The breakfast in the morning was equally tasty. We would definitely stay here again !!!

Destino Mío Mayan Jungle Retreat offers a continental or American breakfast. At the accommodation you will find a restaurant serving Mexican cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. A spectacular property in the forests with: - gardens that are manicured just at the right level - its own cenotes (you can swim in one semi-open one, not sure about the other ones) - its own cave that you can visit with a (Spanish) guide - a mirador just like in the pictures (only open in the morning and evening, but I'm sure if you asked you could go up during the day) - a bonfire place near the tents - a spa for massages Everything is beautifully designed and so well thought through. A few notes: - When we were there in July, the place was very quiet, which added to the magic. - In my head, I had expected more jungle (could have probably known better with more research). The "jungle retreat" was less jungl-y than a number of places we had come from between Valladolid and Celestun. No howler monkeys, no big snakes, etc. (I don't think) However, we did see a grey fox (!), iguanas and lots of beautiful birds and butterflies. - Because I wanted a full jungle immersion experience, I had booked a tent - they have a lot of "windows" and I thought you would be closer to nature than in a concrete house. However, since we visited in July with 36° C and high humidity, we decided to move to a suite (with AC; the tents have fans only of course). They were absolutely gorgeous (a shower open to the sky! a whirpool! a daybed! two hammocks!) and because there weren't very loud jungle noises at night anyway, I don't think we actually missed out. - The restaurant was great. You can probably drive to Tekit (we didn't), but I'm not sure there are many decent alternative food options there, so you might be a bit limited. - We brought many bottles of water. Turns out this was unnecessary - you get water everywhere. - Communication works via WhatsApp; they were very responsive and helpful. - The staff happily drove elderly people around in buggies. - This is a place to go to for pure relaxation. - The Internet was no problem at all.

Languages spoken at the 24-hour front desk include English, Spanish and French. We love Casona Los Cedros. It's a magical place; an oasis of calm where humans seem to be in harmony with nature. The architectural details reveal a keen eye to beauty and respect of nature, tradition, and history. Chef Jorge and his staff work wonders in the kitchen. The staff is kind and attentive. Thank you for everything.
