The room was super clean and bathroom spacious and luxurious. We enjoyed a complimentary foot soak which was amazing after having climbed Mt Kinabalu. There is a lift which is convenient for moving luggage up to the room.

The Magellan Sutera Resort is large property popular with families, groups, and couples. Staff were professional and very helpful. The rooms (ours was sea view, king) are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and very popular with children, and there is a small beach to access the sea. There are several restaurants to choose from with very good food options. The breakfast buffet (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. The view from the open-air breakfast area was truly tropical.
