We had a wonderful stay at The Houghton Hotel during our trip to South Africa. The hotel is incredibly modern and stylish, with very spacious rooms. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—exactly what we needed after a long flight. One of the highlights was the breakfast, very tasty and lots of options. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and we were especially grateful that they accommodated a very early check-in so we could rest right away. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the hotel’s amenities, we did take a look around and everything—from the pool area to the wellness facilities—looked top-notch and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, upscale base in Johannesburg.

Situated in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site, Cradle Boutique Hotel offers panoramic views of the highveld and surrounding valleys. The luxury hotel boasts a restaurant with an extensive outdoor area overlooking the rolling Magaliesberg hills. From the moment you arrive the service was excellent. You are met at the parking with a golf cart to take you straight to reception and the restaurant. Given a welcome drink on arrival and seats at the reception desk. Check in was effortless and as I had a lunch arrangement went straight to the restaurant and my bag was taken to my room. You are given a what's app number and anything you need can be arranged through that number. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the room was very comfortable and functional. The view was amazing. The breakfast was a great way to end the stay of a perfect stay.

They gave us the biggest room near the the reception and the restaurant because my husband is disabled without charging us any extra fees.. they were or are very generous. All out for every extras in the whole hotel. Amazing what they do for one to feel comfortable!!!
