We were driving across Europe and needed a place to stay with a baby and a dog. Honestly, everything was perfect! They managed to provide us with a parking space (I have a rooftop box on my car and wouldn’t fit into the garage), the staff were incredibly friendly, very helpful with the baby, and very accommodating towards my dog (and it’s a big German Shepherd who many people misjudge!). The hotel even provides pizzas, so we didn’t have to worry about where to get a late diner. Breakfast was great, a really big selection; and everything was tasty! I especially loved the coffee and the Nutella machine! :)

Rotel Inn was exactly as described on your website and perfectly answered my need for a place to break my journey before an early morning start. I travelled solo. The location is beautiful, my room looked out onto the Danube. It’s a five minute walk from the railway station and a slightly longer walk (about 15 minutes) along the riverside bicycle path to the town centre. The room was very comfortable indeed for one small and fairly agile person (you have to clamber onto the bed), good bed, opening window with insect screen (no insects in sight on this occasion), spotless toilets and shower opposite. Reception staff was very helpful, atmosphere is welcoming. I would be happy to use Rotel Inn whenever I visit Passau, one of my favourite cities.
