This gem of a hotel was reminiscent of the Logis style of small French family run hotels of old. No fuss, no frills, just good solid service with a smile and a warm welcome. It was immaculately clean and comfortable, well organised, provided the option of an evening meal at the onsite restaurant (which was good and tasty, if a little pricy) and an excellent generous and varied breakfast with a range of local products. Wifi was fast and reliable. Parking safe and easy, adjacent to the rooms. It was very good value for money.

Everything! The owner is very kind and responsive to special requests. The property is very well maintained and well equipped: great outdoor and indoor playgrounds for kids, a separate swimming pool with seating, cozy spots to relax or eat, and a delicious salty and sweet breakfast with hot drinks and juices. Five stars for the staff. We stayed here because our broke down in the motorway, while driving back to Switzerland, and needed to spend the night. The staff was extremely understanding of our situation and went great lengths to help us with different enquiries. They even gave us a bag of pastries for the trip back! It's a blessing when you come across people who love their job. It really shows. To the staff: keep doing what you do! You really stand out in the budget hotel universe!
