Fair price 600 meters from train station (so not far from city centre proper), no breakfast (as most Indian places), I got a clean small room but enough for table and stool, my suitcase and broad bed, clean unstained towels and bedsheets, bedside table with plugs and light switch, hundreds of channels flat screen TV, reliable WiFi, full WC/shower (erratic hot water in the middle of the night) full toiletries and bottles of water, aircon and fan, daily room cleaning, helpful staff got me an Indian train ticket at no extra cost, and Indian Sim Card. I arrived around midnight and after 5 days I left at 5 AM, so they charged me less than 4 days and a half (as some Indian hotels do). Fabulous eater “Ananda Bhavan Adyar” open also for breakfast.

The staff were very accommodating. We are international travelers and they really ensured that they could help us with any concern we had. They allow early checkin as we came around 11am. The breakfast was good and introduced us to a lot of food! We also tried the lunch buffet and it was even better. The bed is very soft and the room was spacious. Internet allows for 4 devices. Overall a pleasant stay.
