Three-Star Hotels in Trincomalee

We stayed in several hotels on the island. And the best impression was left by this hotel. It is not big at all, but very cozy. There are good towels (it turns out that other hotels have problems with the quality of towels). There is hot water. And the rooms themselves are clean. Two hooligan cats live on the territory))))) As for the music, it is not loud and plays only until 10 p.m. The hotel also has a cafe with a chef who deserves a Michelin star 🫶. In the hotel and the cafe are done with style and very nice. Next time we will definitely come back here

The staff were super friendly and always willing to help. They arranged my travel to the airport, diving and visit to the Kanniya Hotwell. I had a relaxed experience.

We had an amazing time during our stay at French Pragish Garden! This was because of the great location but more because helpfull and friendly staff. New Waves restaurant has the BEST food of Trinco!!! The chef has magic hands and knows exactly how to create authentic local dishes to create the real local experience. Fresh fish is prepared, you can’t get it any fresher as they catch it in the same morning. And the service is excellent, anything you want and they will make it happen. After leaving this place it feels like leaving home.

The location is excellent and the view from hotel restaurant as well. The hotel staff is really nice and ready to advise on anything required. Meals were really tasty, we tried different things and all were amazing.

Best accommodation we've had in Sri Lanka in one month. Really helpful staff, location was perfect for us, rooms are clean and bed are super comfortable. Fridges come in handy to have an occasional chilled drink.

We loved our stay here! The location is awesome, walking distance to the beach and all activities. The huts were so clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at J7 Villaj, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by warm and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. Not only that, we arrived close to 11pm and as we sat with a welcome drink, the manager came from home to welcome us personally. Now that is service. The room on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool was large, bright and clean. The plus was that the bed was so comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. Also, the comfortable chairs on the balcony were a great place to relax after a day at the beach with a nice cold drink. Talking of the beach, it’s only a 5min walk away and we were not disappointed. It has nice soft sand and has no garbage. There are plenty of sun loungers available at the various bars along the beach, usually for the price of a drink - but even that isn’t enforced that strongly. One of the highlights, though, of our stay was undoubtedly the dining experience at J7. The delightful food we won’t soon forget. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, each dish was expertly prepared and presented well. The attentive waitstaff made sure every dining experience was a memorable one. The prices, whether for food or drink, are also some of the lowest in the area and their portion sizes are very good. You definitely can’t go wrong. The popularity is also shared by the number of locals who eat and have parties here. As you know when travelling, always eat where the locals eat. As for the hotel’s location, it couldn’t have been better. It was conveniently situated near Trincomalee, making it easy for us to explore the city’s attractions. Additionally, the hotel’s manager helped organize motorbike rentals and side trips at prices that were the same or cheaper than we found on the street. The attention to detail and the commitment to guest satisfaction at J7 truly sets it apart.
