The room was very comfortable and clean with stunning mountain views. Given our travel schedule we could only stayed two nights, I could have stayed longer. Surrounded by a garden with a heated outdoor pool, Smart-HOTEL MINUSIO, a Swiss Quality Hotel is a 2-minute drive from the centre of Locarno and Lake Maggiore. Good facilities and practical location. The area was calm and quiet and moving around with the Ticino ticket was very easy and convenient (bus stop right around the corner). Good base for exploring Ticino, we did a lot of different trips during our stay (easy start by hopping on a bus right in from of the hotel). Short walk down to the waterfront with some restaurants, couple of supermarkets within a couple of minutes by foot. Starting the morning with a breakfast in the garden was a nice way to start the day (excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, fresh fruit and local flavours). Friendly and helpful staff. During our stay, the hotel was fully booked but never felt busy or crowded, the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed.

A 7-minute walk from the shore of Lago Maggiore, Hotel Dei Fiori enjoys a central location in Ascona and offers you en-suite rooms with free WiFi, cable TV and a minibar. It was a perfect stay. The hotel is close to downtown. The bus stops right in front of the hotel. They also have a privat parking direct at the hotel. The hotel is super clean. The personal is outstanding, very friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. We would always go back as soon as we are in this region of Switzerland.

Garni Morettina is a family-run hotel, located in the centre of Brissago, a 2-minute walk away from Lake Maggiore. Every room has a terrace or a balcony with lake view. Super clean, very friendly personnel - starting from owners, finishing on cleaning ladies, good location - close to the bus station and the boat, tasty breakfast, comfortable, spacious room and balcony; all in all - perfect place to stay!
