From the very beginning, communication was very clear and timely. We had absolutely no trouble at all finding the location thanks to Nicola’s excellent directions, and Erich met us on arrival to greet us, show us around, and tell us how things worked. The annex was very spacious and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast items provided were a welcome addition and everyone in the family had something to choose from. The beds were extremely comfy. The fireplace was loaded up with wood and ready to go, but we didn’t need to use it because it didn’t get too chilly. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the apartment since we were only there for one night, but the living area was very nicely set up and there were lots of board games and such available. The rural location is very quiet and a nice break from the city crowds. We have already recommended it to friends who plan to come watch the Edinburgh Tattoo later this year.

With free parking and free WiFi, Sonas Guest House offers bright, cosy bedrooms. The historical Royal Mile and Holyrood Park are just a 20-minute walk away. The room and bedding wete clean and comfortable. The host provided some toiletries and a bag of breakfast goodies every day!

This Victorian house is in large gardens and has easy access to Edinburgh's city centre by bus. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The room was large and bed was comfortable, bathroom was lovely and clean. Owners were great, very welcoming. Location is great with bus stop to town right outside. Hotel give you a card with which buses to catch back which was fab. Onsite parking was good.

We really loved our stay in Edinburgh, and this guest house suited our needs for this trip perfectly. Good sized, comfortable and clean room with everything we needed (we had a room in the basement). Great quiet location, and perfect for a walk to the city center. Good selection of cafes, shops and resturants/pubs nearby. Overall great value for the price!
