Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. The house was very cosy, the furniture antique and the staff very kind and friendly. 10/10 would reccomend.

Just 3 minutes' walk from the beach in Buncrana, The Harbour Inn sits on a hillside overlooking the sandy beaches of Lough Swilly. The Harbour offers spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, breakfasts freshly cooked on request, and free parking. Breakfast was delicious, if you are not a big breakfast person steer clear of the “Irish breakfast” it is a very large portion.

4 miles from Shannon Airport, Bunratty Manor is a small family-run hotel, just a 5-minute walk from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The Manor Restaurant serves local game and seafood.

En suite, spacious rooms offer a home-from-home style atmosphere and have orthopaedic beds. There are tea/coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Free parking is also available. Food was amazing, staff were lovely and the hotel was very cosy. They make their own bread every day which is to die for!

The location of Leenane Hotel makes it an excellent base for exploring Connemara. The facilities include a bar, a spacious restaurant and a private resident’s lounge. The hotel was beautiful in an awesome location. The room was spotless, and breakfast was phenomenal. I was shocked that a breakfast this wonderful was included with the stay! We also had dinner in the restaurant and the mussels were the best I’ve ever had.

Our second visit to this rather magical place, where the welcome is genuine and warm in excellent rooms with great WiFi, a fabulous restaurant, excellent facilities. and excellent parking. We were greeted like family by "Jersey" the barman and welcomed to an excellent room by Eileen and her team. Nicely positioned for the Ring of Kerry and the drive round Slea Head. The absolute icing on the cake, was the kindness of the lady on reception who helped to clean the sand from many beaches, out of the footwells on the hire-car, with her Henry Hoover! Service absolutely above and beyond kind.

Lahiff's Bay View Guest House is located in Spanish Point, 23 km from Cliffs of Moher, 45 km from Dromoland Golf Course, and 45 km from Dromoland Castle. Providing free private parking, the 3-star bed and breakfast is 1.1 km from Spanish Point Beach. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Everything. Fab place to stay. Would definitely stay there again if I am ever in the area. Falling asleep in your bedroom looking out at the Atlantic Ocean.

The 3-star bed and breakfast has mountain views and is 700 metres from Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium. The bed and breakfast also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Excellent location, right in the heart of Dingle but was still very peaceful there. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Great breakfast. Place was immaculate and homely feel . 10/10 for me and will defo be back!

This 3-star bed and breakfast offers luggage storage space, a housekeeping service and free WiFi. An incredibly quiet and clean room with a super comfortable bed, a relaxing breakfast area with a great seaview, and the hospitality from lovely host Geraldine and her employee convinced me on day one already, that I've chosen the right place to stay. At Seacrest it really is easy to unwind, to think, to create and/or to meet people from everywhere around the globe. I spent five days in this B&B - and had I not a life elsewhere, I would have added five years.
