Located just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre National Park. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast, a garden and free WiFi in all rooms. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Rooms at the Hotel Margherita have whitewashed walls and tiled floors. Each comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries in the private bathroom. Staff was excellent, breakfast was incredible, location was perfect! I loved everything about this hotel! Rooms were silent despite a lively party on the street…. It was amazing!

Close to train station and all aspects of the “new” town. Easy walk to “old”. Breakfast was wonderful; nothing lacking. Monterosso is probably the best Conquer Terre town to stay in and use as a home base

Offering panoramic views of the Cinque Terre coastline, Albergo Suisse runs a free scheduled shuttle service to Monterosso, 1 km away. All air-conditioned rooms come with satellite TV. Parking is free. Exceptional breathtaking view of the cinque Terre coastline. . Would highly recommend a room with a balcony … . Spotlessly clean. Free shuttle runs approx every hour to downtown Monterossa as VERY steep hill especially after a full Day exploring. Front desk staff quite helpful.

Hotiday Apartments La Spezia is situated in La Spezia, within 28 km of Carrara Convention Center and 34 km of Mare Monti Shopping centre. This 3-star hotel offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 800 metres from Castello San Giorgio. It was centrally located. We had plenty of space., it was clean and they provided a very nice breakfast in the morning with good cappuccino. Also, it’s right next-door or across the street from a Catholic Church so we attended mass on Sunday, which was nice although we did not understand Italian .

Each room here will provide you with a flat-screen TV. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer. Great Location!! You can walk to train station, walk to the beach! Quiet to sleep at night! And 1 block from seaway where everything happens! The personal so nice!!!

A 2-minute walk from Manarola’s rocky beaches, Hotel Marina Piccola features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi access. It is characterised by the stone walls contrasting with the modern furnishings. Great location and the staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Suggest you book the room on the top floor as we did, which has great views of the ocean. Grazie mille to Alberto and staff

All air conditioned, the rooms feature a flat-screen TV, wooden furnishings, and a private bathroom with free toiletries and hairdryer. Our room was spacious with modern facilities that made our stay comfy and pleasant. We even had a small garden for ourselves with a lovely lemon tree, table and chairs and enjoy the view over the village. I truly embrace the way the hotel is designed with the blend of nature into the stay of the guests, we had breakfast with the view to the garden and could go out and walk under the trees. Breakfast was generous but I wish the bread and croissant could be warmed up for guests during freezing days. The owner was kind and very helpful. Love chatting with him to understand more about the village, weather, how people there works and lives... Location was great, just a short distance from the station and restaurants. However, the way up is steep and can be a challenge for those with heavy suitcases - better leave yours in public lockets.
