Beautiful cottage in the countryside. Views in every direction and we had sunshine everyday for the week we were there (end Nov). Open plan was great for prepping food and being able to chat with family at the same time. Everything you could need was present. Plenty of storage for bikes in the garage and lovely place to sit out at the end of the day or for alfresco breakfast. The location allowed exploring both Wales and England. Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Bridgnorth in England, Welshpool, Wrexham and Chirk. There is Pistyll Rhaeader Waterfall nearby, which is a 3ml walk from the centre of Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant just down the hill from the cottage. There are plenty of Castles/ Houses to visit in the area which did a few due to being NT members. Chirk Castle, Powis Castle and Erdigg House were fantastic with all trimmed with Xmas decorations. Walking can be had right from the door and due to the lack of light pollution you can see the star constellations which make it feel you can reach out and touch them. All in all a fantastic place to stay with super comfy beds, space inside and outside and everything you need. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. The owners are very helpful and nothing too much trouble, not that we had any. We used Cefn Coch as the Sat-Nav search and it takes you to the cottage.

    The house is in a great location and lovely and clean. The village has a shop, fish and chip shop and two pubs all in walking distance. There was also a children's part round the corner. The house had everything we needed for our stay.

    Everything, comfortable 3 bed house. Well equipped, even a barbecue if the weather was good. Convenient central location with easy access to mid and north Wales . Lovely village, the house is a short walk from shop, castle, 2 pubs and a chip shop.

    The serenity...the soothing stream, birdlife and fresh country air in the Berwyn Mountains. Gorgeous cabin with everything we needed. Visit the quaint village and the Falls...they are majestic! Take the road from the village to the falls...it's a better road.
