The location is amazing, quiet and picturesque. Downstairs all open plan and for a cottage had plenty of space. All cutlery etc there. Extremely clean. The beds were super comfy, we all slept extremely well. View of hills and sheep with all the bouncing baby lambs. Great tearoom(amazing homemade cakes) and guesthouse (The Mortal Man, fabulous food) walking distance for eating out. There was 4 adults and we had plenty of space as main bedroom has en suite the other couple had the bathroom to themselves. It was like a home from home.

This was unexpectedly a very pleasant stay for us. It is a beautiful located property with everything one can ask for. The check in and check out was smooth and the overall property was well managed. Everybody loved the stay. Will definitely book this again whenever I visit ❣️

Perfect base for us while visiting family who lived close to the property in the village. A home from home. Plenty of room for 6 adults. View of Craggy Wood at the back was lovely. The train runs at the back of the property but you hardly notice it when in the property.

Everything. This accommodation was incredible, nice location next to the bus stop, mid way from Windermere and Bowness. It is way more spacious than it looks in the photos, it was spotless, the decoration and furniture is all modern and tasteful without feeling neither crowded nor empty. The yard/garden is great in good weather and it allows lots of light into the accommodation. Heating works perfectly, bathrooms too, carpets in the top floor are very cosy and clean and everything is just right and peaceful. Finally the instructions to get here and stay were all clear and the owners very responsive. You can't go wrong staying here :) and we would definitely repeat.

That it's ideal for group of friends. 3 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Great to have a wet/drying area. Gorgeous views Short walk to shop and pub. Not short of anything in the kitchen. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Regular contact from the owners.
