For us, it was a unique opportunity to experience a truly authentic stay in the middle of an old olive tree plantation. The accommodation oozes rustic charm while remaining very comfortable (with AC), and the owners have thought of every detail — the place is extremely well equipped. Privacy was excellent we had the whole property for ourselves), and being surrounded by Cretan nature really helped us unwind and relax. Communication with the owners was great, and they kindly welcomed us with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit.

From arrival and the drive towards the villa you knew you would be in for a treat, what a location and view for the villa! Just stunning sunsets , tranquil and serenity in stylish accommodation. Nikos is most friendly and very thorough on the villa rules. Warm welcome with local treats and some home baked goods on different morning. Always on hand to help with anything, just great communication from host. The villa is only 5-10mins drive to a very lovely beach with a great strip of restaurants with the perfect holiday vibe, also close enough to travel to kissamos to visit the famous beaches, just the most perfect base for Crete.

Beautiful decor, so clean and tidy. Lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay lovely. Lovely swimming pool and outdoor area, attention to detail is so appreciated. The BBQ is great. Having two bathrooms is so lovely and fresh towels after 2 days was a treat.

We wish we could stay forever at this amazing house! The garden was filled with olive trees, there was an old well and two diferent areas to seat for dinner and breakfast or just to relax. Inside beds, sofas, kitchen items... were new. Nektarios was always accessible, he sent us many local restaurants, beaches and places to visit. He even sent info of a concert at the village which we enjoyed. Perfect house to escape from crowds whilst being well located to explore the west and center parts of Crete.

The villa is much larger than the pictures make out, it’s very peaceful, it was clean and has been well maintained. Anna’s communication was great from start to finish. A week wasn’t enough I wish we could have stayed longer. We found so many amazing beaches just 15 mins drive with lots of tavernas with great food, I loved this villa so much it was perfect for myself my partner and my two kids. We would definitely recommend to book this villa.

Our stay at this villa on Crete was absolutely phenomenal! The host, Nikos, is hands-down the best we’ve ever met—warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to making our stay perfect. The villa is stunning, with exceptional design and every detail thoughtfully considered, from fully stocked essentials to luxurious touches. The pool is perfect, surrounded by beautifully designed relaxation areas with ample shade when needed, including an incredible chill spot under a majestic 200-year-old pine tree right by the pool. The magnificent beach, just an 8-minute drive away, added to the magic of this experience. We are 100% coming back, and we can’t recommend Nikos and his incredible villa highly enough!

    From when we met the host on arrival, everything about the villa was amazing. The host was extremely helpful in supporting any request we had. We were two families with teenagers holidaying together - the villa catered for everyone. The breakfast basket every morning was a lovely touch and such a treat. The layout and design of the villa was exceptional. We would recommend this property wholeheartedly.

    We can wholeheartedly endorse the Almyrida Sands Luxury Stone Villa. It ranks among the finest accommodations we've ever experienced. Yannis warmly greeted us upon our arrival and, on three separate occasions during our stay, delivered fresh bread, jam, and olive oil. The pool and the surroundings were cleaned and kept fresh, all in a very discrete manner. The level of cleanliness and freshness was consistently top-notch.

    The villa was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Owner of the house welcomed us very warmly. He brought fresh bread and homemade jam for the breakfast. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The location is also ideal, if you prefer to spend time more on the western side of the island. All in all, a totally worthy stay for the money we spent. Highly recommended :))

    Everything was wonderful. Very atmospheric, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Lovely outdoor spaces to relax in. Decor great. Lovely location in the middle of the villiage. Local mini market had everything you need. Loved the local taverna. Jannis also left a wonderful feast of wine, fruit, bread, olive oil, jams... It is a very special villa - great to relax in.

    Absolutely stunning charming Villa that had everything you could possibly need as well as being spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable and all of the Villa was cleaned to a very high standard. Yannis was extremely welcoming and brought us fresh bread, fresh fruit and homemade jams, which were all lovely and brought plenty of fresh towels during our stay,
