We were travelling for work - a show in Punchestown - The Mews was an oasis to return to every evening. It was the perfect location for the show - a short pretty drive cross country with no traffic. I particularly liked having my morning coffee with the Alapachas!

The property is in a calm area, you do need a car to be able to travel around. The property itself is very nice and clean. It’s perfect for a family. No issue with the communication, the owner answered our questions quickly.

John was a delightfully engaging host, gave us a tour of the farm, met the animals and he gave us great instructions on how to use any appliances, in case we weren't familiar! Spectacular views across Dublin, cabin was so was warm, clean and a very comfortable bed, superb quality! As a working farm, it was a pleasure to be allowed walk into the fields freely, see the Alpacas, sheep, goats, horse, and blue the dog.

A beautiful quaint cottage in a picturesque village. The cottage was immaculate, bright and modern. Very easy to heat with a good shower. The cottage had everything we needed and more, i highly recommend, we were a family of four and had plenty of space.

The house is brand new, the host was very kind and considerate. He welcomed us explaining the house: he had also thought about breakfast (bread, yogurt, coffee, tea, etc.) The house is very clean and cozy. Although slightly out of the country I recommend it for the tranquility and the welcome it conveys.
