It's just a wonderful village cottage. So cosy inside. An Irish idylly. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Big kitchen with all possible facilities. Comfotable bedrooms with wardrobes and comfortable beds. Big parking space. 2 bathrooms, one is with a shower cabin, the other is with a beautiful bathtub. Easy going owner. In the morning some local sheep came to greet us. It was a truly cute experience. 1h drive from Connemara national park.

Beautiful private cottage, good size bedrooms and living area. Plenty of hot water and heating, heat holds in the property. Facilities within the property covered everything we needed for the 3 nights, including cooking and washing, and entertainment. Within walking distance to village. Quiet surroundings in nice little village, close to westport and croagh patrick among some tourist attractions.

A traditional cottage, with wonderful views over Clew Bay, beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished to provide a large modern warm open plan space for all our family to enjoy. The bathrooms were very modern with lots of fresh towels.The spacious, light and bright bedrooms had crisp clean sheets, great beds with lots of pillows and clothes space. The kitchen was very well equipped with every utensil and modern cooking facility to hand and cleaning products. Great utility room. Most of all, after a day long journey we loved the welcoming soda bread, butter and jam with a pot of tea . Our host was lovely and welcoming, telling us the origin story of the cottage and its artworks and of course the donkeys. We even had our own personal sheep. The cottage was rural but only a few minutes drive from Westport. The location was perfect for climbing Croagh Patrick, cycling the greenway, days out in Louisburgh, Leenann, Kylemore and Acail island.
