The location was only a few minutes by car to Collooney itself. There are two supermarkets stocking everything you need for a stay. Very easy to reach Sligo town by car. The house had enough space for the four of us. I really liked the big bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. There were 2 tvs so everyone was happy. There’s also a utility room with a washing machine. I enjoyed walking around the beautiful garden each evening and sitting on the bench outside. Clodagh left some goodies which went down well with the kids and the wine with the adults.

Good instructions for finding it, and hostess Ann there to meet us She had an extremely generous welcome pack, including delicious homemade sandwiches. The semi detached accommodation is furnished to a very high standard with a good, spacious kitchen and a good bathroom. It is situated semi rurally, with a small town nearby to buy necessities, and Sligo is an easy 10-15 minute drive. Very handy for the Yeats trail, and some of Ireland’s impressive pre- historic monuments. Hard frosts while we were there, so it was very scenic, but we were always warm. Our hosts were warm, friendly and helpful. Very highly recommended.

Amazing so clean , attention to detail in the whole house , bread and refreshments left out for us was really appreciated. Loved the location-a little off the beaten track but with an excellent Beach Bar quite near. At least two supermarkets a short car drive away. The scenery-sea and mountain views. We were a large party, 6 adults and two energetic children. There was a lot of space to spread out. Very well equipped.Everything for comfort. This place would be ideal for walkers, bikers, fishers, families with energetic children, those seeking peace and quiet. I thought it a great find and would definitely go back. In case of confusion, we loved this place. A lot!
