The cleanest apartment on our whole trip! A lovely, beautiful and well cared for estate surrounded by lemon and orange trees greatly situated for cultural tourists to Matera, Acerenza, Castelmezzano, Craco, Rocca Imperiale etc while also rather close to the beach. The apartments are in top condition and very comfortable. We loved the clever pellet heating system. The owner is a really lovely older man with a huge heart who made us feel welcome and at home! Our whole family instantly fell in love with him :-). The place is great for families with smaller children as it has a fenced in garden area with a small playground and there are a lot of friendly animals (1 horse, 2 donkeys, 1 lovely dog, chicken and some very friendly cats). The cats and the dogs are well trained and while always looking for contact they would never think about entering the apartments,

Lydia has been a fantastic host. We are delighted with her beautiful house, and what impressed us was the house is cosy and warm and with so thoughtful decorations and amenities. Restaurant recommendation was perfect. Delicious and lica tradition！ I wish i have a house here too but i wil upsize the shower room 🤭😊🥰
