Large house in a quiet area away from the busy part of town. Lots of seating areas and nice views from the outside deck and observation deck. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was very helpful with providing information on things to do/transport/organising bicycle hire. We have three teenage boys and there was plenty of room for them. Fabulous restaurant ‘Golden Mango aka Mango Mango’ within walking distance - very reasonable prices and delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Very nice architecture and peaceful place with lot of big trees and nature. Roofs are very tall and decos are beautiful. Staff is very warming helpful and caring. They treated as we were they are own family. Very nice with kids and they prepared specially according to them and us. Local food was very delicious made by chef and not only kids but also adults enjoyed them lot. Place is Very closed to all the main attractions. We loved staying in there and we will recommend and we’ll come back with big pleasure!!!

Everything was perfect. Caretaker was really helpful and friendly person. Spacious and clean rooms. Big kitchen area. Free Wifi and Peo TV. Clean and new bathrooms. Everything was spot on and amazing stay! highly recommended.

First When I saw it I was little bit skeptical because of less reviews then had thought that this was hidden gem in anurdhapura area that less people know about it .Place was abosultely stunning and huge bathroom I mean if u wanted to spent a quality with your partner this is so good place to make a memorable moment in your life for sure💯

The family has been amazing to me:) They have been much more than hosts. Kind, accomodating and very good hearted people. The curry and fresh juice they prepared for me was delicious (I got some for a takeawy when leaving). Manushka took me on a city tour and showed around the places tourist don't get to see. Enjoyed that time and good talks we had. The evening spent on the terrace watching the parrots and peacocks in that beautiful garden will be unforgettable. I slept very well, the bed was comfortable and the fan kept me cool. The place itself is simple but very clean. It had everything I needed. I hope to get back there soon and meet those beautiful people. It will be like coming back home. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay. You made my trip:)

Serene Homestay is a very nice,peaceful,clean,spacious property situated in a quiet off road setting. It's a marvelous place to unwind from the busy city though it is within a few kms of all the historical sights should you wish to visit. I had a lovely rest from my on going bicycle tour. Lovely family too!
