Our stay with Priyanga was spectacular, the best place we've ever been by far. She gave us one of the best breakfasts we've had on our entire trip, told us about important and beautiful routes and places to visit, and treated us with such kindness. We lost a backpack in a tuk-tuk, and she drove us in her own car to find the driver, turning around in the middle of the road to find him. I even told her we really liked the paratha bread, and the next morning she surprised us with a similar dish. The bed is also sooooo comfortable, we love it. I would love to extend my stay here if we had more time. I highly recommend it.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation itself was top-notch—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail, from the bedding to the amenities, reflected a commitment to quality and comfort. Beatiful and peaceful place in the nature. You can hear many kinds of birds and see monkeys.. Sithu and Kalpana are 2 sisters, they are so kind and helpful. They organised tuk tuk for us(good price). Communication via WhatsApp was great. We had very tasty breakfast and dinner there. The room was clean and comfy. Ella town is nearby(you can go for a walk or use tuk tuk). It's really nice place and nice family. Thank you for everything and we hope to see you again.

Everything was amazing, the view was unbelievable and the staff were all so lovely. Namal was so helpful and was there for anything we needed during our stay. Would recommend walaa kulu to everyone! Breakfast in particular was outstanding. Thank you again for having us!

Our family loved the homely vibe with clean rooms, bathroom and kitchenette. We were able to wash and dry our clothes, and do our own cooking for some meals. We also explored a nearby viewpoint/lookout and watched some movies that were on the TV provided. Definitely would stay again. Lal, the host, also provided us fruit and soft drinks, which was very kind.

Our stay here was truly unforgettable. The location is breathtaking—perched on the peaceful Ella Rock, away from the busy, tourist-filled streets of Ella. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden full of colorful flowers and fresh vegetables. It's also right next to a waterfall where you can climb, swim, or simply meditate. The views are absolutely stunning—nature at its best! The family who built this house recently are the kindest people we’ve ever met. They were incredibly welcoming, cooked the most delicious meals, and made us feel right at home. They live just next door, so we got to experience the warmth of a homestay while still enjoying plenty of private space to relax. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with amazing views and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed for two weeks in Kapi's beautiful accommodation, it is a simple place, small but very special both for the nature that surrounds it, as well as for its kind, respectful and prodigious cook host, we recommend this place if you want to spend a few days disconnected from the chaotic and touristic centre of Ella. Kapi can accompany you to do some routes as he knows the territory very well, he is always ready to help you with whatever you need, every day he cooks with fresh food and always has a smile on his face. We are very happy to have spent a few days in your accommodation and hope to come back next year.
