This hotel was so wonderful !! First the place is particularly beautiful, the house has been made with a lot of taste and every detail is perfectly adjusted. (It's even better than the pictures). You are lost in the nature so this is a very good break to relax during the trip. Above all, the couple working there is amazing! They are kind and so helpful. Their food is delicious ! We booked the cooking demonstration and it was a really nice experience :) this hotel was from far the best of our 10 days trip !

This Villa is a truly peaceful and tranquil retreat in the Knuckles area. This was my second visit to this beautiful place, and it never fails to impress. The hotel owner arranged a delightful village tour for us, allowing us to meet local villagers and engage with their community. They also kindly organized a complimentary lunch for us (which we gladly paid for), adding to the authentic experience. The journey to the villa involved a scenic mountain river crossing, where we enjoyed a cool bath in the evening — a refreshing highlight. In the evening, the caretaker, Diviya, thoughtfully arranged a small campfire and BBQ dinner, creating a cozy and memorable atmosphere. Our rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a perfect base to relax and connect with nature. If you're looking to immerse yourself in the serenity of nature, I highly recommend Riverston Nature Villa. It’s the ideal place for anyone seeking peace, adventure, and authentic local experiences in the Knuckles region.

The cooking lesson with the host family was an amazing experience. It was so homey, warm, and absolutely authentic. We felt very welcomed and cared for (food obviously tasted out of this world, but the experience itself was unmatched). The house and surroundings - just wow. Beautifully arranged, the terrace has the most breathtaking view of rice fields, palm trees and houses emerged into the scenery. Morning sounds of birds with morning coffee was the best way to wake up you could imagine. The house itself is beautiful and very stylish. It was honestly one of the best home stays/hotels we’ve ever been to, it was extremely sad to leave, but surely a place to come back to.

The house was located in the first floor of the villa. It was huge and very spacious. The house had all the essential facilities for a comfortable stay. The location is about 20 minutes drive from city center, yet we loved the serenity of the place. Short walk to the main road, with a supermarket barely 200 metres away and lots of fruits and vegetable vendors nearby. The house felt very safe and we loved the privacy we enjoyed. The manager of the villa Mr. Saman was super friendly and always available for any assistance. Overall it was an amazing stay and we loved it so much. Highly recommended!
