Sebastian Transit Villa was a fantastic choice for our first night in Sri Lanka. The free airport pick-up was much appreciated, especially as our flight arrived into Colombo at around midnight. Communication was excellent, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. Value for money was exceptional. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The place is very clean and close to the city, walking distance to main road. The owners are also very friendly and welcoming. Aunty and uncle always made us feel like home. We will definitely come again.

So beautifully decorated, calm and peaceful. The facilities were great and the bed was super comfortable. Nice and close to the airport so great for before or after travels. The lady running it is so kind and helpful too.

Very lovely, welcoming and helpful people, oriented towards healthy living through food and mindfulness. The villa is nicely decorated and some have a bathroom with an open air shower. The feeling can not be described in words! Very tasty food partially from their own garden, which can also be visited. The pool was a big plus after a very long trip. We had the pleasure of staying three nights at The Travellers Rest with our family, and it was truly a special experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfect for our family’s needs. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Each morning, we enjoyed a thoughtful and delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared with a variety of options to suit everyone in the family. The attention to detail and care in each meal was something we truly appreciated. What made our stay truly unforgettable, though, was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the owner’s family. They were always ready to help with anything we needed and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. A very special thank you to their beautiful three girls, whose warmth, smiles, and gentle presence made our visit even more memorable. They are a lovely family that we will never forget. The Travellers Rest is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place filled with heart. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely love to return one day.

I had a wonderful stay at the villa! The property was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The swimming pool was great – perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was really good, with a nice variety to choose from. The surroundings were peaceful, and the host was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend

An Unforgettable Stay at a Dream Villa! From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by the beauty, cleanliness, and peaceful charm of this villa. Every detail has been carefully thought through—from the cozy yet elegant interiors to the stunning outdoor spaces. The views were breathtaking, and the amenities far exceeded our expectations. What truly made our stay exceptional were the owner Mr.Lalith Croos. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, they went out of their way to ensure we felt right at home. Their local recommendations made our trip even more memorable, and their genuine hospitality made all the difference.
