We didn't expect to find a live-in landlord however when we met Mouna, she was a great host. She keeps herself to herself in her own quarter but we felt very welcomed and throughout the entire trip we ended up keeping her as part of our family. Our trip was exceptional and whatever help we needed Mouna was there to assist. Honestly I'll definitely be returning to Fez and Mouna's villa is going to be my regular play to stay. Very close to nearby amenities including shopping, restaurants and cafes although it would be a good idea to rent a car. Very safe neighborhood and as mentioned previously, without Mouna the trip would not have been the same. In the past the host has made the trip awkward but this experience was different, our children also love it. Definitely book a guide to Medina, you'll enjoy it more and it's a MUST SEE.
