The view over the small valley just before Chañaral was breathtaking and we felt lucky to be there. We really loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. The host was very generous and extremely helpful.

The cabin is big, with three bedrooms, and with a good shower/bathroom to share. The kitchen is large, with a gas cooker and a large fridge-freezer. Equipment could be better but there is a liquidiser for juice and a few pots & pans. There is a parking space inside a garden gate although I'm not sure security is much of a problem in these samll Atacama towns. Our host was excellent and full of local advice and knowledge, and gave us one of her goats' cheeses to try gratis! A short walk or drive away you can find desert lilies and guanacos.

Located only 3 blocks from the Yacht Club of Caldera and offering an outdoor pool and children’s games, Cabañas el Mirador Caldera provides bungalow and apartment accommodations with free WiFi access.... We stayed one night. Everything was wonderful.
