A wonderful garden with the volcano looming in the background, all seen from the veranda where we had a good dinner (be sure to order ahead of time) and breakfast. The pool to the side of the house was, as the rest of the place, well-maintained and we enjoyed using it. Rooms were large and accommodating, and the ceiling fan worked well. Peter and his staff were excellent and attentive hosts, and they arranged for his to see the nearby former plantation.

The Borobudur and Siddharta suites have a shared restaurant facility and pool. The first surprise was that I was upgraded and had this marvellous villa with swimming pool for myself. The view was astonishing, located in the hills and in the middle of the jungle, a paradise. I felt so good and relaxed every minute. Everything was clean, well maintained and beautiful. Guru and the whole team were above all expectations, always helpful , smiling and went far beyond their duty to make my stay a dream; I can't thank them enough. You have a beautiful place next to the villa to watch the sunset and sunrise, and if lucky will see the volcanos in front of you. The Borobudur temple is at 10min ride, the hotel kindly takes you there (don't forget to book online to climb it). I could actually perceive the temple from my villa. There are also many other things to do in the area.. I warmly recommend this hidden gem you never want to leave... Just one thing, as in every other place where you stay, you hear the praying many times during the day and once at night, don't forget your earbuds, or your own music 😊. This didn't bother me.
