A recently renovated holiday home situated in Newbridge, The Mews features a garden. It is set 6.4 km from Riverbank Arts Centre and features private check-in and check-out. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We were travelling for work - a show in Punchestown - The Mews was an oasis to return to every evening. It was the perfect location for the show - a short pretty drive cross country with no traffic. I particularly liked having my morning coffee with the Alapachas!

We weren't familiar with EIRcodes - it was our fault for the confusion. The cottage was great for two couples. We also had an additional guest, for one overnight, and the accommodations and linens were more than adequate. Took lots of pictures of the great kitchen! Parking was generous. Very nice yard with privacy. Showers were great!

Great location in Athy .Down a quiet lane so you feel like your quiet rural but 2 minuets to town which is large enough so you can get what you want but small enough to have that village vibe .1 hour to Dublin 40 mins or so to the coast .Got a nice little welcome package on arrival , booking in was a breeze and Claudia couldn’t have been more helpful

Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday home. The accommodation offers a fireplace. Mary was a fabulous host. We went to reception to pay and get the keys and she came to show us around. The house is absolutely lovely, everything you need just like being at home. Great disabled facilities too. Lovely location only 15 minutes from Nurney and not much further to Kildare (great shopping village similar to Bicester outlet and Tesco for essentials!) and Newbridge. The house is spacious and a good sized drive and outdoor area. Lovely seeing the cows out of the window each day. Check out was easy. Thank you so much for having us, we had a fabulous time made even better by great accommodation. We will be back!

The Farm Cottage is set in Athy, 21 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre, 21 km from Carlow Courthouse, and 21 km from Carlow Town Hall. With free private parking, the property is 3.2 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum and 21 km from The Curragh Racecourse. The property is non-smoking and is located 21 km from County Carlow Military Museum. I highly recommend this place as a place to stay. Located southwest of Dublin about a 60-minute drive, its location allowed us to take day trips to almost the entire country. Going north into Northern Ireland made for a 12 hour day, but was easily doable.. The owners, John and Delores, are next door. They are very friendly and have two dogs that are absolutely attention hounds. Bella, the larger one is a hoot. The cottage has two bedrooms that allow for better privacy. We watched a couple of fox play in the field.. Lots of birds provided music to drink coffee and watch the sunrise or sunset on the little patio. Little snacks were provided along with some potatoes from the owners. You have a selection of places to shop. I recommend shopping at Pettitt's suoer value for groceries qq+q+qq+and Conlons Family 7

Amazing read two books, ran twice in the grounds of the estate. Plenty of walks by the liffey. A real escape from modern life. Breda (the lodge warden) was fantastic, helpful, friendly and a mine of information.
