We had a car rental so it was relatively easy to get to Cork etc. The countryside was lovely and although we didn't have time, there's a beach a few minutes in the opposite direction, at Youghal. We brought our own food and were happy with the kitchen. The house itself was one of the most beautiful that we stayed in, very modern, classy, well-designed and comfortable.

Went to the local pub, McDermotts, food was good and it was a great atmosphere with the live music. We wished we could have stayed longer.
