This is a great place for a couple who want to chill out or use it as a base to explore Ireland. The host really made us comfortable without intruding and we had everything and more that we needed. Simple things like condiments, bathroom basics and logs for the fire - all really useful things. We liked the isolated location and the log fire as well. It's basically a studio bungalow, for want of a better description - so perfect for a couple.

The hosts were very friendly when in contact and there was tea, coffee and food left out——it was very hospitable. I would highly recommend it.

The cottage is over 200 years old and is located on a small farm with lots of animals. The hostess was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, interesting and all around awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. I was able to bottle feed a lamb and we collected fresh eggs from the hens for breakfast. We enjoyed the cottage and estate so much, we cancelled some of our plans to chill at the cottage. We hope to return in the future with extended family and rent both cottages.

All channels and subscriptions on the TV were great. We enjoyed a lot sitting at the super comfortable sofa in front of the stair with the view of the window. It was great to have the washer and dryer, iron, etc. We enjoyed the company of one of the cats, so friendly! We forgot to write on the guestbook... We'll definitely have to go back!
